About Tick and Point

Tick and Point is a set of free calculators for futures traders. The site exists because the arithmetic behind a futures trade (what a tick is worth, how many contracts a stop allows, what a position costs to hold overnight, what a prop firm payout leaves after fees) is simple but easy to get wrong when you are doing it in your head at 9:31am.

Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored. Contract specifications come from CME Group's published contract specs and are checked when the site is updated. Margin figures are estimates because brokers set their own and exchanges change theirs with volatility; the tools let you overwrite them.

The site is supported by advertising. It does not sell courses, signals, or accounts, and it does not take referral fees from brokers or prop firms. If you find an error in a spec, use the contact page.
